Document Requirements

Before applying for the Child Visa, ensure you have the following documents prepared:

  • Valid Nationality Passport at least 6 (six) months.
  • Proof of living expenses of at least US$2000 (two thousand American dollars) or equivalent.
  • Marriage certificate or marriage book that has been translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator except those that have been written in English
  • Birth certificate that has been translated into Indonesian by a sworn translator, except it is written in English.
  • Parents' valid Limited Stay Permit/Permanent Stay Permit or Limited Stay Visa.

Visa Validity and Stay Duration

It is important to understand the validity and stay period of the Child Visa to ensure compliance with Indonesian immigration laws.

  • This visa must be used within 90 days from the date of issue.
  • Please note that the visa validity period is different from the period of stay, kindly check your visa for the period of stay Information.

Your child can stay in Indonesia for either 1 year or 2 years, depending on the type of Child Visa issued. The visa can be extended while in Indonesia, ensuring continuous stay without leaving the country.

Make sure to renew the visa before it expires to avoid penalties or overstaying.
